  REQUIREMENTS

1. Form DHA/BI-130 —  filled out completely using BLOCK LETTERS and BLACK INK.
2. Copy of any previous marriage certificate (will facilitate the tracing and processing of the record).
3. Copy of ID document/passport of both the parties
4. A pre-paid, A4 size self-addressed special deliver envelope (which indicates 500grm paid for).
5. The processing fee is non-refundable and must be paid into a UK bank in Sterling Pounds. The required payment is £7.00, which should be deposited electronically into the High Commission’s account. Please see the information below:

To enable to facilitate the tracing of records and processing of the application, please submit fully completed applications including the Identity numbers.

Tracing original records in the register maintained by the Department of Home Affairs in Pretoria is a lengthy process, and as a result, the processing of applications may take around 12 months or more.

Upon receiving the certificate, it will be dispatched in the pre-paid, self-addressed special delivery envelope that was provided at the time your application was submitted.
