Minister Pandor to speak at South Africa – Botswana Heritage Day Celebration event – 05 August 2022

 

The Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Dr Naledi Pandor, will speak at South Africa – Botswana Heritage Day Celebration event scheduled to take place, tomorrow, 05 August 2022 at the King Keitseng Monument, in Lobatse, Botswana.

 

The event forms part of the events to commemorate the 28th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between South Africa and Botswana.

 

Minister Pandor’s participation is at the invitation of her counterpart, Dr Lemogange, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Botswana.

 

The South Africa – Botswana Heritage Day Celebration event is organised to honour Botswana’s contribution to South Africa’s Liberation struggle. It will also highlight bilateral ties and the strong bonds of friendship between our two countries, hinged on shared communities, history and culture.
