Minister Naledi Pandor’s message of condolences to Dr Ebrahim Ebrahim family

 

The Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Dr Naledi Pandor, has learnt with sadness the news of the passing of Dr Ebrahim Ebrahim, the former Deputy Minister of International Relations and Cooperation (2009 – 2014).

 

On behalf of herself and the Department of International Relations and Cooperation (DIRCO), Minister Pandor, expressed heartfelt condolences to the Ebrahim family, friends and colleagues.

 

Minister Pandor said “Dr Ebrahim, served as the Deputy Minister of International Relations and Cooperation and played a significant part in cementing our country’s position on the international stage.

 

He was a renowned and respected freedom fighter, a national combatant and truly committed to his country, his organisation and his family.”

 

“I had hoped to visit him soon as he had told me of his failing health. I’m truly saddened”, said Minister Pandor.

 

May his soul rest in peace.
