Message of condolences following the death and injuries from an earthquake in Indonesia
The South African Government wishes to express its condolences to the Government and people of Indonesia following the large-scale destruction and loss of hundreds of lives in the wake of the recent earthquake in the West Java Province.
The South African Government and its people stand in solidarity with those affected and salute the emergency personnel working tirelessly to assist those in need.
The thoughts of the South African people are with the people of Indonesia during this catastrophe, and we wish all those injured a speedy recovery.
