Deputy Minister to participate in a Handover Ceremony of the Mookgophong Community Hall
The Deputy Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Ms Candith Mashego-Dlamini, will participate in a handover ceremony of the Mookgophong Community Hall on Friday, 29 September 2023. The event is organised in partnership with the Embassy of the Republic of Korea.
The Deputy Minister previously visited the community of Mookgophong in October 2021 as part of the Department’s outreach programme. The Deputy Minister’s visit was aimed at raising awareness about socioeconomic challenges facing young people in and around Limpopo.
During her visit to Mookgopong, Deputy Minister Mashego-Dlamini convened a public dialogue with the community where a request was made to the Deputy Minister to assist the community with renovations of the Community Hall, which also serves as a place of shelter for victims of GBV.
