Deputy Minister Botes to launch the Romania Assistance Programme for Township and Rural Schools in South Africa
The Deputy Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Mr Alvin Botes, working in partnership with the Embassy of Romania, will participate in the launch of the Romania Assistance Programme for Township and Rural Schools in South Africa on Tuesday, 25 April 2023.
The programme will be launched at Laezonia Primary School in Doornrandje, Centurion. The Romanian Embassy will deliver electronics and IT equipment as well as learning and teaching materials. The programme is part of the Official Development Assistance (ODA) for South Africa and is facilitated by the Romanian Government through the Romanian Agency for International Development (RoAid).
