  • Deputy Minister Moraka to host event marking International Women’s Day

The Deputy Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Ms Tandi Moraka, will mark International Women’s Day (IWD), which is held annually on 8 March, by hosting a breakfast session in honour of female ambassadors on Monday, 10 March 2025, in Pretoria. The event will be held in conjunction with the Charlotte Mannya-Maxeke Institute.

The event will serve as a platform to celebrate women’s achievements while advocating for gender equality and women’s empowerment. This year’s IWD is celebrated under the theme, Accelerating Gender Equality.
