Deputy Minister Botes arrives in Georgia for Political Consultations
The Deputy Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Mr Alvin Botes, has arrived in Tbilisi, Georgia, where he will co-chair political consultations with the Deputy Foreign Minister, Ms Khatuna Totladze.
The political consultations will be the first at the Deputy Minister level, which is indicative of the growing bilateral relations between South Africa and Georgia.
Deputy Minister Botes is also scheduled to meet with the Deputy Minister of the Economy and Sustainable Development, Mr Genadi Arveladze, to discuss the promotion of bilateral trade and regional cooperation.
The Deputy Minister will conclude his visit by meeting with members of the Georgian Chamber of Commerce.
