Certificate of non-impediment is issued to South African citizens who intend to get married outside the country. The purpose of the certificate is to confirm to foreign authorities that there are no impediments to enter into a marriage by a citizen concerned.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. The Form duly completed and signed in black ink.
2. A detailed letter confirming the reason for the application and the applicant’s contact details.
3. Certified copy of applicant’s valid passport and ID document.
4. A registered self-addressed envelope for the return of your document.
5. No Cash payments accepted. Payment to be made by Bank Transfer or QR Code. Details will be provided during your appointment.
