The Embassy of the Republic of South Africa to the Republic of Benin, in collaboration with partners and friends of the Embassy commemorated the 2025 Nelson Mandela International Day at the A.T Love for Work Orphanage in Ouidah.

The Mission collected donations (comprising of essential commodities, health supplies, groceries etc..) from local entities in Benin to assist the children, widows, and caregivers at the A.T. Love for work orphanage.

The Embassy, accompanied by officials from MTN Benin, EcoBank Benin, Sanlam Allianz, PMI Foods, Porte Ouverte and Satguru Voyage who all donated generously in their individual capacities towards the project, paid a visit to orphanage to handover all the items collected and spend time with the children, show UBUNTU and put a smile on their faces.
