Minister Pandor to participate in the panel discussion “Revitalising Multilateralism: The United Nations and Beyond” in Turkey

 

The Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Dr Naledi Pandor arrived in Antalya, Turkey, this morning (12 March 2022) to participate in the panel discussion organised by the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.

 

The panel discussion, entitled “Revitalising Multilateralism: The United Nations and Beyond” will take place this afternoon (12 March 2022).

 

Other panellists include Mr Pacôme Moubelet Boubeya, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, Francophonie and Regional Integration in charge of Gabonese Living Abroad, Gabon; Mr Kairat Sarybay, Executive Director, Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia-CICA; Mr Volkan Bozkır, Ambassador, President of the 75th Session of the UN General Assembly, Turkey; and Mr José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, Former Prime Minister of Spain.

 

The panel discussion will focus on the UN’s central role in the international system, including its response to addressing global challenges such as the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
