Media Arrangements for the SADC Solidarity Conference with Western Sahara

 

South Africa and Namibia will co-host the SADC Solidarity Conference with Western Sahara, on 25-26 March 2019 in Pretoria. This comes after the 37th Summit of the SADC Heads of State and Government resolved to convene the Solidarity Conference with Western Sahara.

 

During the Solidarity Conference, the SADC Heads of State and Government are expected to express the region’s support towards decolonisation and right to self-determination of the people of Western Sahara.

 

The media are invited as follows:

All members of the media must go through a Remote Security Search Park at Rietondale Park on Soutpansberg Road. Media will park at Rietondale and be shuttled to the OR Tambo Building.

 

NOTE: Only accredited media will be allowed to enter the OR Tambo Building. Members of the media are encouraged to collect their accreditation tags at Denis Adami Hall (1171 Wren St, Queenswood) in Pretoria from today, 22 March to 24 March 2019 between 08h00 and 17h00.
