If you do not comply with any of the above requirements, you will not be assisted and will have to book a new appointment.<\/p><p><strong>Address:<\/strong> South African High Commission,<br \/>15 Whitehall,<br \/>London SW1A 2DD<\/p><hr \/><p><strong>To be Submitted by Post ONLY<\/strong><\/p><p>You can apply for the death certificate six to eight weeks after you registered the death with the SA High Commission in the UK. If you apply for the death certificate, the turnaround time is a minimum of 12 months to be processed and finalized in South Africa.<\/p><p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p><ol><li><a href=\"https:\/\/dirco.gov.za\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2024\/04\/DHA-132.pdf\"><strong>Form DHA-132<\/strong><\/a> \u2013 Must be completed fully in BLOCK LETTERS and IN BLACK INK.<\/li><li>Copy of any previous birth certificate (to facilitate the tracing and processing of the record).<\/li><li>Copy of ID document\/passport.<\/li><li>Copy of parents\u2019 ID documents and passports (especially if the applicant is below 18 years of age).<\/li><li>A pre-paid A4 size self-addressed special delivery envelope (which indicates 500 grams paid for).<\/li><li>Processing fees (Non-Refundable) of \u00a37.00 to be deposited electronically into the High Commission\u2019s account.
