South Africans living in the United Kingdom and registered to Vote on the forthcoming South African General elections are hereby requested to note the following information:
- Voting at the South African High Commission in London, United Kingdom will take place on the 18th and 19th of May 2024 from 07h00 until 21h00.
- We are located at South Africa House, Trafalgar Square, London, WC2N 5DP.
- Voters are required to provide their RSA identity card/document (i.e. Green Barcoded ID/Smartcard) or a valid (Temporary Identification Certification) TIC when voting abroad.
- Voters abroad are no longer required to provide their RSA passport when voting in the forthcoming elections.
- Voters registered to vote inside RSA but intending to vote abroad may do so, provided they submit an online VEC 10 to vote abroad (available from www.elections.org.za which must be submitted between 23 February and 22 April 2024).
- Voters registered to vote abroad and intending to vote at the mission where they are registered, may vote at that mission and do not need to submit an online VEC 10.
- Voters registered to vote at a mission abroad but intending to vote at a different mission abroad are required to submit an online VEC 10 to vote abroad (available from www.elections.org.za which must be submitted between 23 February and to 22 April 2024).
