The South African women’s national cricket team, the Proteas Women, have officially begun their campaign preparations for the forthcoming ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026, which will take place in England and Wales from 12 June to 5 July 2026.

The Proteas Women are scheduled to commence their tournament campaign on 13 June 2026 against Australia. 

The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 is expected to attract significant international attention and presents an important opportunity to showcase South African sporting excellence on the global stage. The South African High Commission encourages South Africans living across the United Kingdom to come out in support of the Proteas Women during the tournament and to rally behind the team as they represent South Africa on the international stage.
