Do not use write-out on forms or make alterations.<\/li>\n\n<li>CAN $115.00\u00a0processing fee. Pay by money order or certified cheque payable to the South African Consulate-General. The fee is non-refundable even if you do not meet the requirements.\u00a0No\u00a0cash, please.\u00a0No\u00a0personal cheques, please.<\/li>\n\n<li>An application for a business visa by a foreigner who intends to establish a business or invest in a business that is not yet established in the Republic, shall be accompanied by\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>a certificate issued by a chartered accountant registered with the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants or a professional accountant registered with the South African Institute of Professional Accountants to the effect that\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" style=\"list-style-type: lower-roman;\">\n<li>at least an amount in cash to be invested in the Republic as determined from time to time by the Minister, after consultation with the Minister of Trade and Industry, by notice in the Gazette, is available; or<\/li>\n\n<li>at least an amount in cash and a capital contribution as determined from time to time by the Minister, after consultation with the Minister of Trade and Industry, by notice in the Gazette, is available;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n\n<li>an undertaking by the applicant that at least 60% of the total staff complement to be employed in the operations of the business shall be South African citizens or permanent residents employed permanently in various positions: Provided that proof of compliance with this undertaking shall be submitted within 12 months of issuance of the visa<\/li>\n\n<li>an undertaking to register with the-\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" style=\"list-style-type: lower-roman;\">\n<li>South African Revenue Service;<\/li>\n\n<li>Unemployment Insurance Fund;<\/li>\n\n<li>Compensation Fund for Occupational Injuries and Diseases;<\/li>\n\n<li>Relevant professional body, board or council recognised by SAQA in terms of section 13(1)(i) of the National Qualifications Framework Act, where applicable, Provided that upon registration, all certificates shall be submitted to the Director- General;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n\n<li>The applicant is ONLY required to provide Police Clearance Certificate \/Report from Countries that they have lived in after attaining the age of eighteen (18 ) years for a minimum period of twelve (12) or more consecutive months in the last five (5) years leading to the submission of the application\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Original Fingerprinted Police Reports should be submitted within six ( 6) months from the date of issue and NO scanned or copies will be accepted<\/li>\n\n<li>Please note that NAME and Date of Birth police report will NOT be accepted<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n\n<li>A letter of recommendation from the Department of Trade and Industry regarding:\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the feasibility of the business; and<\/li>\n\n<li>the contribution to the national interest of the Republic<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n\n<li>Official Letters\/ Contract of Employment from South Africa can only be signed by South African citizens and Permanent Residents only.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n\n<li>A foreigner who invests or has invested in an existing business shall, in addition to complying with sub regulation (2), submit-\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>financial statements in respect of the preceding financial year; and<\/li>\n\n<li>proof of investment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00a0<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Business visa Fee:\u00a0C $115.00\u00a0(effective from 01 NOV 2022) \u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":21,"featured_media":0,"parent":0,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"_uf_show_specific_survey":0,"_uf_disable_surveys":false,"footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-2069","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO Premium plugin v26.4 (Yoast SEO v27.7) -
