Certificate of non-impediment is issued to South African citizens who intend to get married outside the country. The purpose of the certificate is to confirm to foreign authorities that there are no impediments to enter into a marriage by a citizen concerned.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

REQUIREMENTS:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

  1. The\u00a0Form<\/a>\u00a0duly completed and signed in black ink.<\/li>\n\n
  2. A detailed letter confirming the reason for the application and the applicant\u2019s contact details.<\/li>\n\n
  3. Certified copy of applicant\u2019s valid passport and ID document.<\/li>\n\n
  4. A pre-paid self-addressed special delivery envelope to post the outcome.<\/li>\n\n
