nearest Home Affairs Office or High Commission or Embassy to complete the form DHA-73 and give his\/her consent to the other parent (who is abroad with the child) to apply for the new passport.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Home Affairs official will in turn complete Section \u201cB\u201d of the form and will do parent\u2019s online verification (only if residing in SA) and process the child\u2019s consent and then submit to our office.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As soon as the consent documents are submitted to this office, the local parent can book an appointment and come to our office so that we can process the child\u2019s application.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Local parent must come with the following:<\/p>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"71\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/dirco.gov.za\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2024\/01\/DHA-73.pdf\">Form DHA-73<\/a>\u00a0fully completed on both sides in the name of the child (do not sign the form).<\/li>\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/dirco.gov.za\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2024\/04\/CONSENT-AFFIDAVIT-FOR-MINOR-IN-RSA-1.pdf\">Affidavit form<\/a>\u00a0must be fully completed in black ink and sign in front of Home Affairs Official.<\/li>\n\n<li>Certified copy of the unabridged birth certificate of the child<\/li>\n\n<li>Certified copy of father\u2019s passport and ID document<\/li>\n\n<li>Certified copy of mother\u2019s passport and ID document<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"76\">\n<li><strong>Processing fees (Non-Refundable) of SEK138 <\/strong>must be deposited electronically into the Embassy Account.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>NB: Please be reminded that you will be required to
