30 Years of Democracy, Partnership and Growth

30 years ago today, South Africa took its first steps to freedom, with many South Africans voting for the first time in a democratic election.

27 April 1994 was a pivotal moment and a culmination of many years of struggle to liberate people from oppression and bring an end to apartheid.

Under the theme: “30 Years of Democracy, Partnership and Growth”, we reflect on the journey traveled over the last 30 years to transform society towards a better life for all and we celebrate how far we’ve come.
