The South African Embassy would like to share with you one of the many forms to celebrate the great national diversity: INDONI

INDONI is a cultural movement that teaches young South Africans about their culture and their heritage, and helps the orient their lives with dignity and pride on their roots and national identity.

INDONI’s motto is MI HERITAGE, MY PRIDE. In this pageant looks for the cultural ambassador that best represents this motto all over South Africa.

Happy South African Women’s Day!
Every year, in August, South Africa celebrates Women’s Month, to pay tribute to the more than 20 000 women who marched to the Union Buildings on 9 August 1956,in protest against the extension of Pass Laws to women.
 
This year’s Women’s Month commemoration held under the theme: “Celebrating 30 Years of Democracy Towards Women’s Development” marks the 68thanniversary of the historic march.
