On 26 May 2023, the South African Embassy in Addis Ababa celebrated 29 years of a Democratic, Non- racial, Non-sexist and Unitary South Africa. This auspicious occassion was graced by the presence and address by the Minister ìn the Presidency for Women, Youth and People with Disabilities of the Republic of South Africa: H.E. Dr Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma; the Director- General for Africa Affairs from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia : H.E. Ambassador Fesseha Shawel, and the Deputy Chairperson for the African Union Commission: Dr Monique Nsanzabaganwa.
On 23 April 2023, at the invitation of the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, H.E. Dr Naledi Pandor, the Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of the Republic of South Africa, delivered a speech, during a High- Level Recognition Ceremony for those who played critical roles for the success of the Peace Process in Nothern Ethiopia.
A delegation from Government Printing Works( GPW) of the Republic of South Africa led by the CEO, Ms Alinah Fosi, has completed a successful working visit to Ethiopia from 11- 14 April 2023.
