Welcome to the website of the South African Consulate-General, located in Los Angeles, California that promotes South Africa’s interests within the Western States of the United States.

As such, the Consulate provides consular, civic and passport services to South Africans in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.

Accordingly, we aim to foster excellent relations between South Africa and the U.S. western states within our jurisdiction through focusing on promoting the strategic goals on the enhancement of relations around Trade and Investment, Tourism, Arts, Culture and Film as well as on Education and Training. These goals are aimed to support South Africa’s priorities that have been identified by our national government.
