  • Birth registration for first birth certificate issuance for a child born abroad
• PASSPORT APPLICATION (New & Renewal)
  
  • Child 0 – 15 years of age
  • Adult 16 years and above
  • NB: Children turning 16 must apply for their first ID to be eligible to apply/renew passport.
• FIRST ID APPLICATION (16 years of age )
  
  • Child aged 15 but turning 16 in the relevant year
  • 16 years and above who have not applied for their first ID

VISA/PASSPORT – appointments should occur 2 weeks to 3 months before departure to South Africa. Please make only 1-APPOINTMENT PER FAMILY.

Civic Services are performed Monday to Thursday, from 9am -12pm by appointment only. If a Commissioner of Oaths is required, please make an  appointment using this system:

Please e-mail copies of your valid ID (in the form of Passport picture page or South African ID), transfer lawyer/conveyancer Instructions, and all the Documents to be signed to BEJAX@DIRCO.GOV.ZA and FONTELERAL@DIRCO.GOV.ZA  as soon as possible.

On the day of your Appointment, come prepared with your Original ID and printed copies of the Documents. Please ensure your application(s) is completed in BLACK ink. If you would like your passport sent back to you after processing, please arrive with a prepaid, self-addressed USPS or UPS Envelope, the Consulate do not accept FEDEX.
